This video is a touch heavy handed and patriarchal, but I think it’s still a good statement of things to be grateful for in this country of ours. There are also two bits that should be of special interest to librarians:
At the 6 min mark, one of the sons expresses his gratefulness for libraries.
At the 11 min mark, the father expresses his thanks for newspapers.
I hope you’ll take the time to watch. And please give it more than the first two minutes. It starts slow but does pick up.
