This presidential election is generating a lot of excitement and with it plenty of heated discussions. Here is a prayer I received in my e-mail this morning that I think people of all parties (D’s, R’s, Green’s, Libertarian, and more) can agree to.
If you are a person whose faith tradition includes prayer, would you pray this prayer once a day until November 4th?
Dear Lord, please watch out for America during this election season and keep our candidates safe. Please grant that the person we inaugurate in January will be the one whom You would choose for us, if You cast the only vote. Amen.
