If you browse the citizen services section of the Delaware state home page, you’ll see Find the Unexpected as one of the options. I assumed this would be an unclaimed property search, because whoever expects to find what they’ve forgotten?
But the Delaware webmasters lived up to their word. There are a number of things I wouldn’t have expected to find, such as Delaware ringtones for your cell phone. Here’s the list of areas of unexpectedness:
- Geocaching in Delaware State Parks
- Delaware Environmental Observing System
- Escheat – Unclaimed Property
- Native American Projectile Point Classification Guide
OK, so unclaimed property was one of the options. But I didn’t expect any of the others!
