Alaska’s Silver Millions

The 1936 movie below does a good job of putting Alaska into context and explaining Alaska’s different regions. I was very surprised by the footage of my home town of Juneau, that starts about 5 minutes into the movie. The view today looks very similar to what it looked like in 1936. One difference is that we are no longer considered a dairy area and I don’t think you can find cows in Juneau. Horses yes, cows no. Unless they’re hiding someone.
