Left my camera at [...]

Diana and several colleagues in Argentina (Todos son de Argentina?) seem to be posting on news from around the Spanish speaking library world and beyond. [...]

A friend and FGI colleague decided to do an open tabs post the other day. Instead of trying to blog articles individually, he just dropped some article titles.
Since I’ve been meaning to share a number of articles gleaned from my Blogline’s subscriptions, James’ approach makes sense to me. So the next few entries [...]

The folks over at the Hobson and Holtz Report have a released an audio review of the book Second Life: The Official Guide .
Neville Hobson and Shel Holtz make this sound like a great book for librarians wondering whether to take the plunge into Second Life and what to do if they go there. Libraries [...]

Walking to take back the country Originally uploaded by AlaskanLibrarian.
Picture of a Juneau march from Court Plaza to the Northern Lights church. We marched to oppose the Administration’s plan to escalate the war in Iraq, and to encourage Congress to demand an alternative.
This represents about two-thirds of the line of [...]

If you belong to any faith tradition whatsoever, I ask that you say a prayer for columnist Molly Ivins. She has been diagnosed with a third recurrence of breast cancer and is gravely ill.
I’ve been an admirer of Molly’s plain spoken columns since I lived in Texas in the early 1990s. Though she’s not always [...]
