Experiment with Google Pages – Share Feedback/Experience

I’ve started experimenting with Google Pages, Google’s webhosting service. I’ve started migrating my pages to http://danielcornwall.googlepages.com/. My original web site is still up, and will remain so until I’ve migrated all the pages and satisfy myself that this is really a good alternative.

Why bother? Because once you get the pages up, Google Pages seems to be easy to update from anywhere. That could make some of my “project page” items get updated faster. Plus I get a 100MB of disk space, and an URL that starts with my name. On the other hand, I seem to have limited creativity in layout, and I’ve been having to copy and paste one page at a time. If Google Pages allowed straight HTML edit, this would be no problem, but as far as I can tell, WYSIWYG is the only option and that can result in some odd formatting in cutting and pasting.

I’d be interested in getting feedback on how the new page looks. And if you’re using google pages yourself, I’d like to here how you are finding this tool.
