While listening to a recent LISRadio podcast, I came across a “Tiger Eye Reading Room” interview with Canadian Muslim author Rukhsana Khan. Ms. Khan is the author of Muslim child, a book that translates the five pillars of Islam into children’s stories. Based on her description of the first chapter, this book will be an educational hit for kids. In addition to her own published books, Ms. Khan’s web site features a list of recommended works for people looking for good books on Islam and other subjects.
The 30 minute or so interview was wide ranging and interesting. Ms. Khan came off as a politically moderate Muslim completely uncompromising in her faith. Much like many Catholics I know. Have a listen then consider subscribing to the LISRadio podcast.
